I've been using an AOC 1440P 165Hz monitor as a second display, and it was working great until one day it suddenly switched to 1080P 60Hz on its own. Now, when I try to change the resolution back, I can't find the option for 1440P anymore, and it claims that 1080P is the native resolution. I'm hoping someone can help me figure out what went wrong, especially since my main monitor runs at 1440P and the difference in resolutions is really noticeable and frustrating for me.

It sounds like a display driver issue. Try running Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to completely wipe your current drivers, then reinstall the latest version. That usually fixes issues like this.
Make sure to update your graphics drivers. Sometimes they need to be updated to recognize your monitor properly, especially after a sudden resolution change.
What drivers are you referring to? I thought I had been keeping them up to date.
