Why Did My FPS Suddenly Drop After Upgrading to Windows 11?

I've noticed a significant drop in my FPS lately, especially in games like Rainbow Six where I used to get around 220 FPS but now I'm only hitting about 160. In Geometry Dash, I used to max out at 4k FPS in the menu, but now it's only around 1k. I recently upgraded to Windows 11 and I'm wondering if this could be the reason for the decline in performance.

Sounds like the Windows 11 bloat might be impacting your FPS! Sometimes, new updates can bring extra processes that slow things down. It's worth checking if there are any background programs running that you don't need.

Is that really what might be causing it?

You should try turning off core isolation in your settings. Also, make sure XMP is turned on for your RAM, and check if 'Resizable BAR' is available on your graphics card; it could help with performance.

Where do I find core isolation? I have XMP enabled, but I'm not sure about ReBAR with my 1650 Super.
