I've been using ChatGPT mainly for school, fitness, and financial planning for a few months now. Recently, I signed up for the free premium trial during finals week. However, when I opened the webpage on my MacBook today to cancel that trial, I was shocked to see a picture of myself from a family photo shoot years ago. It's a photo I've always thought was unflattering and kept it untouched in my Google Drive. I never posted or shared this photo anywhere or even gave ChatGPT access to my personal photos. Suddenly, the image zoomed in on my face appeared at the profile button, but within seconds it vanished back to the generic profile icon. I'm freaked out! How did this happen? Also, I found out about Gravatar being involved, but I've never created an account with them. How did they even find that photo? Is my Google Drive accessible to other companies?

It sounds really creepy! It seems like Gravatar might have pulled that photo from somewhere, possibly linked to an older account or email you might have used. Companies sometimes aggregate photos from various sources, and if you've got any old accounts linked to your email, that could explain it. Just make sure your privacy settings are tight on Google Drive and anywhere else you store personal images!
It's wild to think that something can pull your image without you knowing! Maybe try Googling your name along with 'Gravatar' to see what's out there about you. It's nuts to feel like your data isn’t as secure as you thought! You might want to look into changing your Google Drive sharing settings, too.
Definitely! And don't forget to check if Gravatar or any other accounts might have your info without you realizing.
Yeah, totally check your accounts and their permissions. Better safe than sorry!
