I've been living with a roommate since November, and we've typically used around 1 TB of data each month. But for March, our usage suddenly jumped to 2 TB! I checked my phone and tablet, and they only add up to about 400 GB combined. I'm trying to figure out how this increase happened. Is there a way to track where all this extra data is coming from? I didn't find any unfamiliar devices on our network using the Xfinity app or Fing.

It sounds like a huge jump! Sometimes devices don't log data usage accurately. You might want to check if your roommate has any devices or apps that could be using a lot of data in the background. Things like streaming services, cloud backups, or even automatic updates can really add up without you realizing it.
Another possibility is that someone else could be using your Wi-Fi if it's not secured properly. Make sure your network is password-protected and check for any unfamiliar devices connected to your Wi-Fi.
Have you checked your roommate’s devices? They might have something going on, like streaming in high definition or downloading huge files. Sometimes these things can be easy to overlook, especially if they’re always connected to Wi-Fi.
