I've been experiencing an issue with my laptop (running Windows 11 with an AMD Ryzen 7 7735U and Radeon Graphics). Every time I shut it down, the fans sometimes make a loud whirring noise that continues until I press and hold the power button. This has been worrying me since my laptop is fairly new, only 1-2 years old, and it didn't have this problem until a few months ago. I'm wondering if there are any fixes or explanations for this behavior. Additionally, I noticed today that the fans also rev up significantly when I launch Minecraft and during startup, which was not an issue before. Any advice would be appreciated!

It sounds like there might be a hardware issue, possibly related to your motherboard, or it could be a software problem with your OS or BIOS. One thing you can try is disabling both the fast boot option in your BIOS and the fast startup in Windows. This might help ensure your laptop powers off completely without leaving the fans running.

That actually seemed to solve the shutdown fan noise! But I still have the annoying issue of the fans being really loud right after booting up or when I start Minecraft.
