We've been getting reports from users that their computers are sometimes 'locked by BitLocker.' They show a typical lock screen, but by the time we check, the screen is black, and after a restart, BitLocker seems to have unlocked itself, allowing the computer to boot normally. This issue seems to primarily affect remote users and those returning to the office after traveling. Although BitLocker appears to be functioning correctly with auto-unlock via TPM once the booting sequence is smooth, the initial locking behavior is raising concerns among the users. Is this a common occurrence for others, and is it expected behavior?

This is happening to us as well. I keep track of which PCs have this issue, because it can sometimes indicate a potential hardware failure coming up. Good to note!
Yeah, I've seen this happen a lot too. It seems like nobody really cares about addressing it, even though it can be annoying for users.
Just yesterday, I encountered this with a Dell desktop. It surprised me since it wasn't a traveling laptop. It did resolve after a restart, but I'm expecting more trouble with similar units.
