Why Does Dying Light Feel Sluggish Even at 60-80 FPS?

I'm experiencing a strange issue while playing Dying Light on my budget PC. Even though I can get decent frame rates between 60 to 80 FPS on the balanced preset (medium-high) at 1080p, the game feels sluggish unless I'm close to my refresh rate of 100 FPS. It feels like I'm playing at 50 FPS instead. I've tried toggling VSync on and off and capping my FPS at 100, but the problem persists in other games too. Here are my specs: Intel Core i7 6700, Nvidia GTX 1050 TI 4GB, 16GB of RAM, and Windows 11 Pro. My monitor runs at 1920x1080p with a 100Hz refresh rate. Any ideas on how to fix this sluggish feeling?

I see you're using adaptive sync. Just a heads up, the GTX 1050 Ti can't utilize G-Sync over HDMI, which might be part of your issue. If you're using HDMI, turning off adaptive sync could help stabilize your experience.

It might be stuttering. If you can, try taking a video of how it feels; that way, it's easier to diagnose. Also, have you checked your graphics settings and anything related to G-Sync or adaptive sync? Sometimes these settings can affect performance.

Can you elaborate on what you mean by 'sluggish'? For instance, does your mouse movement feel delayed, or is it something else? Understanding this can help pinpoint the issue better.
