Why does my aim feel twice as fast on my new PC setup?

Hey everyone! I need some help figuring out a strange issue with my mouse aim. I recently upgraded my PC with a new CPU, motherboard, and RAM. The assembly was done by professionals. I have one 8GB Kingston Fury Beast DDR4 stick and a different 16GB stick, not sure of the brand. Since making this change, my aim feels totally different. I've always used a DPI of 1600 and an in-game sensitivity of 0.1 without any issues, with my Windows cursor speed set to 6—just like my old setup. However, now it feels like my aim is twice as fast; it's like the mouse sensitivity has altered, even though all my settings are the same. I'm certain of how my sensitivity should feel—it's noticeably off from before. I've tried everything I can think of, and I'm even considering reinstalling Windows and resetting everything. If anyone has an idea what's going on or how I can fix it, I would really appreciate your input!

Mixing RAM sticks can lead to some issues, especially when they're different sizes and speeds. That said, it might not be the direct cause of your aim feeling off. It could also be due to improved FPS or a higher refresh rate on your new setup. Sometimes the new graphics capabilities make a noticeable difference. Also, if your mouse is a recent model and you haven’t installed the manufacturer's software, it might be running a different onboard profile. Since you mentioned you're using a Logitech G102, make sure you've got the right settings loaded.

Everything else is the same. I'm still using my Logitech G102 with the program I installed, and my monitor is still 60Hz, the same as before. The game I'm playing is Valorant, just to clarify.

Have you checked if "Enhanced Pointer Precision" is turned off? That can really mess with your sensitivity settings and make it feel way faster than it should be.

Yeah, it is off. That didn’t help.
