I've been experiencing a weird issue while playing Rainbow Six Siege. Normally, I get around 300 fps, but this drops significantly to just 100 fps with a lot of stuttering unless I have my browser open. My setup includes a Ryzen 9 7900X and an RX 7900 XT, so the hardware shouldn't be the issue. I've already reinstalled all AMD drivers and the game itself, but nothing seems to help. Is there a way to fix this?

That sounds really odd! It could be possible that your browser is somehow assisting in hardware acceleration, maybe running a background process that helps your game performance. Have you checked if there are any settings related to hardware acceleration in your graphics card settings?
Yeah, I was wondering the same thing. Is there a way to enable hardware acceleration without needing your browser? Would that help resolve the issue while gaming?
