Why Does My Monitor Keep Showing No Signal?

Since yesterday, my monitor has been randomly going black and displaying a 'no signal' message. I've tried cleaning the ports on both my GPU and monitor and switched from HDMI1 to HDMI2, but the problem persists. It usually happens a few minutes after turning on the monitor or when I try to launch games like Valorant or Roblox. I've also unplugged and replugged the cable from the monitor and GPU, but it still shows 'no signal.' The only temporary fix I have is to restart my PC, but it only works for a few minutes before the issue returns. Does anyone have any solutions to this?

Have you tried using a different HDMI cable? Sometimes, the cable can't handle the bandwidth needed for your resolution or refresh rate, which can cause the no signal issue. It could also be an indication of a failing GPU or monitor, or a setting that's not configured correctly.

I checked my monitor specs, and I'm using a high-speed HDMI cable, so that shouldn't be the problem. Plus, I haven't launched any games, and it's been running fine for over 20 minutes since I started my PC.

Make sure the HDMI cable is fully inserted and try moving it to a different port if possible—sometimes the ports can wear out.
