I recently built a custom gaming PC, and I'm having an issue where it produces a resonating hum whenever the system is under load. It works perfectly otherwise, but I can't pinpoint the source of the noise after listening closely from various angles. I've tried a few things – moving it away from my desk and removing the metal front and side panels to see if that helps. I even took it to the shop where I bought the components, but they couldn't replicate the hum, likely due to the background noise. Strangely, when I listened closely at the store, I didn't hear it either. I have a video of the sound, but it doesn't do justice to how irritating it is in real life. Any ideas on what might be causing this?

It might be the case vibrations. Try loosening any screws or checking if the case is sitting flat on the surface. Sometimes fans or drives can vibrate against the case, making it hum.
Have you checked if you have any speakers or wireless devices connected? Sometimes they can cause interference or amplify noise.
I don’t have any wireless devices connected, and I did try unplugging my speakers to see if that made a difference, but the hum was still there.
