After experiencing a blue screen of death (BSOD), my PC stopped booting into Windows 10 and now goes directly to the BIOS instead. I've tried various solutions, but nothing seems to work. I noticed that when I unplug the SSD, my PC quickly jumps to the BIOS, but when the SSD is connected, it takes much longer to reach the BIOS, indicating it's trying to boot from the SSD but failing. Currently, I'm running Linux Lite from a Live USB. Any suggestions?

To get to the bottom of the BSOD issue, you should try to access the dump files for a proper analysis. If you manage to get into Windows—whether normally or via Safe Mode—check for any crash logs in the C:WindowsMinidump folder. You can zip those up and upload them to a file-sharing service, since Reddit has been blocking some hosts. This will help in figuring out what went wrong.
It sounds like your SSD might be failing. When it’s connected, the system is taking longer to reach BIOS because it’s trying to find a bootable partition on the SSD but can’t. If the drive is indeed dead, you’ll need to replace it and reinstall your operating system.
Thank you! I'm curious though—how can an SSD fail without any physical damage? I never even touched it! Can a BSOD actually kill an SSD?
Yeah, it really does seem like a RIP for your SSD here!
