Why Does My PC Crash to a Black Screen During Games?

I've been experiencing a frustrating issue where my PC crashes with a black screen and the fans go wild while I'm gaming. I recently tried playing the BF6 beta, and this happened for the second time. The screen loses connection, and I have to try multiple times to get it to boot again. I checked all the cables already, but this has happened before—about two months ago—during other games too. Not only does it crash during BF6, but I remember it also occurring in games like Darktide and Zenless Zone Zero. The odd part is that it sometimes boots up fine when my keyboard lights up. Does anyone know what might be causing this?

It sounds like there might be an issue with your GPU's power connection. Have you double-checked the power cables connected to your graphics card? It can sometimes lead to those black screens and fan overdrive if they're loose or failing. You mentioned this happens during multiple games, so it could also be a temperature issue if your GPU is overheating. Keeping an eye on temps while playing might help too!

That makes sense. I’ll check the cables again to be sure. Overheating seems like a real possibility because the fans are going crazy. Thanks!
