Why does my PC get stuck on reboot?

I'm having a frustrating issue with my new PC build using an MSI B650S Pro WIFI motherboard and a Ryzen 5 9600X. I've got 32GB of Patriot Viper Venom 6000 CL36 RAM. The system works fine when powered on from a cold start, loading into Windows without problems. But every time I try to restart, it hangs on the DRAM light indicator. I've also experienced some crashes while gaming. Here's what I've already tried:

- Cleared the CMOS
- Updated the BIOS
- Reseated the RAM sticks
- Switched the RAM sticks between sockets 2 and 4

When I tried using sockets 1 and 3, it got stuck on the CPU and DRAM lights instead, which might have happened because I set the RAM speed to 6000 MT/s ahead of time. Any advice on how to fix this?

Have you checked if all your drivers are up to date? Sometimes, not having the latest drivers can cause issues like this during restarts.

You might want to try repairing Windows with the DISM and SFC tools. Also, consider disabling fast boot and ensuring that Windows is fully updated. If you're using EXPO for your RAM, try disabling that too just in case it’s causing instability. Additionally, testing each RAM stick individually could help identify a faulty one. You may also run memory tests with tools like MemTest86 or TestMem5 to ensure everything's working as it should.
