Why Does My PC Keep Restarting While Gaming?

I've been having an issue where my PC randomly restarts during gameplay, and it started about a month ago. I'm not really sure what caused it. My setup includes an AMD Ryzen 7 7700 8-Core Processor, 32GB of RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070. This only happens when I'm playing games like Dead by Daylight or Valorant. I did some digging and think it might be related to my power supply, but given that my PC is less than a year old, I doubt that's the issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I'm happy to provide more details if needed.

What's the wattage on your power supply? That might give some clues. If it's underpowered for your GPU, it could cause restarts.

I’m not sure about the wattage, but I’ll check it out and let you know.

I had a similar issue, and it turned out my GPU was having power connection issues. Make sure everything is snug!

Did you build this PC yourself or is it prebuilt? Also, check if the power cables to your GPU are secured properly. Sometimes loose cables can cause these issues too.

It’s a prebuilt one and I’ll look into the cables. Thanks for the tip!
