I've been having an issue where my computer turns off unexpectedly while I'm playing games. I've replaced the power supply, but the problem persists. For example, during the Monster Hunter Wilds Benchmark on Ultra settings, my system managed to hold 60fps but still turned off after a while. It's also happened on another game, shutting off within an hour of play. I'm currently running Steam OS and here's my build: AMD Ryzen 5 7600X, ID-COOLING SE-214-XT cooler, ASUS Prime A620-PLUS motherboard, ASUS TUF Gaming RX 6800 XT GPU, G.SKILL 32GB DDR5 RAM, and a Western Digital 2TB SN850X SSD. The power supply was replaced with a higher-end unit, so I'm really stumped on what could be causing this shutdown. Anyone have ideas?

Another thought is to examine whether your cooler is working effectively. Since you mentioned you're going to repaste your CPU cooler, that’s a good move. Sometimes thermal paste can dry out and cause overheating, which might lead to the shutdowns you're experiencing.
It sounds like overheating might be the issue, but since you've replaced the power supply, it might not be that. Have you checked the CPU temperatures? Using something like RTSS can give you insight into that. Also, I'm curious—why did you choose Steam OS over regular Windows? Could be that compatibility issues are at play here.
