I'm having a frustrating issue with my PC where it just shuts down randomly without any warning or blue screen. This happens when I use a 3D Slicer program or play games with an FPS over 60. Best Buy replaced my old power supply with a new Corsair RM 850 Watts, updated all the drivers and the motherboard, and checked the hardware, but the problem persists. They stress-tested the PC and couldn't replicate the shutdowns, even while playing games like Fallout 4 and Halo Infinite in-store. However, once I get home, it keeps happening, especially when I cap my FPS above 60. My GPU is an EVGA NVIDIA 3060 RTX 12GB. Any ideas on what could be causing this?

Consider downloading NZXT's software to monitor your temperatures. Instant shutdowns are often related to overheating, which can occur if your setup's cooling isn't optimized, even with liquid cooling. It might be a problem with the GPU or case fan arrangement.
It sounds like a power supply issue or maybe an issue with your motherboard's safety settings that triggers a shutdown to protect the hardware. You might want to investigate further into those areas.
Yeah, I initially thought the same for the PSU, since it was one of the older parts. I replaced it, but I'm still having issues, just less frequently. Could you explain more about checking the motherboard?
Also, make sure to check for any overheating issues. That could cause instant shut-offs too.

Thanks for the tip! I do have a liquid cooler, and it seems to be working well. I'll check out NZXT and keep an eye on the temps.
