Why Does My PC Reboot When My SSD Is Under Load?

I'm experiencing some frustrating issues with my PC. Whenever I put my SSD under stress—like during stress tests, file copying, or installing large files—the computer tends to freeze and then reboot. Occasionally, it even boots directly into the BIOS. This happens despite my drivers being up to date. Here's my setup: I'm using an MSI B650 Gaming Plus WiFi motherboard, an ADATA 900 Pro SSD, Crucial DDR5 Pro RAM at 6000MHz, an XPG Kyber 750W power supply, a Ryzen 7500 CPU, and an RTX 5060 graphics card. Any ideas?

There's a chance that the ADATA 900 Pro could be using that problematic Phison controller known for causing issues with SSDs. It might be worth looking into that, just to see if others are experiencing similar problems.

I’ve heard of those issues but I’m not exactly sure if mine has that controller.

Have you checked the temperature of your SSD during heavy use? Keeping an eye on that can really help diagnose issues. Also, are you using a heatsink with it? That can make a difference!

The temps are around 60°C, so not too bad.

Yeah, it does have a radiator on it.
