I've been having a tough time installing various Linux distributions like Kubuntu, Endeavour, and Fedora on my PC. Here's the breakdown of my rig:
- CPU: Intel i5 4690
- GPU: Nvidia GTX 1070 Ti
- Motherboard: Asrock H81M-VG4 (only one BIOS version behind the latest)
- Storage: Adata SU650 500GB SSD, Team GX2 500GB (OS drive), Toshiba 1TB HDD, Seagate 500GB HDD
- PSU: Cooler Master MWE V2 Bronze 550W.
Every time I try to boot into the installer, my PC just shuts down before even reaching the GUI installation screen. It's worth noting that I've successfully installed these distros on another machine without any issues, but they always cause shutdowns on my primary PC. I've even swapped the PSU with a different one.
Does anyone have any ideas on what could be causing this?

First off, consider ditching Ventoy. I've seen plenty of folks who had similar shutdown issues that just went away after trying a different image writer. Something like Rufus or Etcher could do the trick for you.

I did try it with Rufus, but I ended up getting a shutdown again and then hit with a kernel panic error. The panic report was super technical, but it does hint at something going wrong after the boot process starts.
