Hey everyone! I'm in the process of building my own gaming PC, but I'm feeling overwhelmed with the high prices, especially for RAM. I've done a lot of research and even asked for some help using AI tools, but I'm still struggling to find a cost-effective build. Here's what I've come up with so far:
**CPU**: AMD Ryzen 7 7700
**Motherboard**: ASUS B650E MAX GAMING WIFI
**RAM**: Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5 DIMM 32GB 6000 MHz (2x 16GB)
**SSD**: Kingston Fury Renegade 1TB
**GPU**: Palit GeForce RTX 4060 Ti Dual 8GB
**PSU**: Be quiet Straight Power 11 750W
**Case**: Deepcool Matrexx 55 MESH-ADD-RGB-4F
The total cost, including my monitor and keyboard, is going over $2000, which is more than I can afford! I'm looking for suggestions on replacing some parts or tips on waiting for price drops. Also, I'm located outside the US but I'm willing to order parts from there, so any recommendations on where to buy would be helpful!

Have you thought about going for a 50 series GPU? It seems like your current build is priced a bit high given your specs, even with the RAM prices being out of control.
I'm really hoping to find parts that can cut down the total cost. Any ideas?
You could consider the Ryzen 5 7600X! Honestly, you’re paying just about $80 more than you need for similar performance.
Switching to a 14600K and getting used DDR4 RAM could save you a lot. You might lose a little performance, but it might be worth it.
For around 2000€, you could get a way better PC for less. Look into a 7800X3D for about 400€, paired with a 5070 GPU for around 550€. RAM should be around 300€, a budget motherboard about 150€, and a decent PSU for 120€. SSDs are about 100€, and you can find a good case for under 50€. If you shop smart, you should be able to build a great machine for about 1720€ total!

Yeah, but the price jump for GPUs is significant, starting around $400 and going up to $800 for better models.
