Hey everyone! I've been dealing with a frustrating issue with my PC for a while now. Whenever I push my hardware close to its limits, like while playing graphics-intensive games such as Star Citizen, the whole system starts to stutter. I noticed that when my CPU or GPU utilization hits around 80-90%, I experience significant voltage drops, which causes the performance to drop to 30-40%. This results in my monitor freezing and the audio glitching out—almost like the PC is crashing. My hardware temperatures hover between 70-80°C, which seems too low to cause throttling. I have a Ryzen 7 5800X, a Radeon 6700XT with 12GB VRAM, and 32GB of 3200MHz RAM, all running at stock settings with high-performance power options. I'd appreciate any advice or insights into what's going wrong!

This could be related to several things. You might have an issue with your drivers, or if you're using a PCIe riser cable, that could be a culprit too. Also, if your GPU isn't hitting 100% utilization, it might mean your CPU is bottlenecking. Just a thought!
It sounds like your power supply unit (PSU) might not be handling the power spikes well. When you're pushing your hardware, it can draw more power, and if the PSU isn't adequate, it could cause those drops in voltage.
I'll definitely check the PSU out; thanks for the suggestion!
What motherboard are you using? Also, have you tried monitoring your CPU clock speeds? It could be that the VRMs are overheating and causing these issues under load.
I'd lean towards a power supply that's either underpowered or low quality. It's crucial for stability, especially under load, so ensuring yours is top-notch is key.
I ran a GPU stress test and everything was fine, but during a CPU stress test, it dropped to 0% after about 30-40 seconds. I've already tried fiddling with the drivers; maybe there's something else I should look into.
