I just got a second-hand Samsung S20 FE, and I'm dealing with a super frustrating issue. The screen randomly flashes completely white for a fraction of a second, which started happening about a week after I began using it. I've taken it to several repair shops, but no one seems to know what's wrong, and I really can't stand dealing with these flashbang moments all the time. I'm handy with tech repairs since I've fixed phones before, so I'm looking to tackle this myself. If anyone has insight into what might be causing this or how to fix it, I'm all ears!

If things get too frustrating, you might just want to consider returning the phone for a different model. The A36 is a great option, and if that’s too pricey, the A27 would be a solid alternative. It's not worth the headache if you can’t get it fixed!
Do you find that you can replicate the issue consistently, or does it happen randomly? It might help to check if there are any apps running in the background that could be causing this. You could also try going into energy-saving mode, as it stops background apps from launching. Additionally, check if your phone's sensors are functioning properly through the developer tools. If it's still acting up, maybe you should shut it down for about 10 minutes and restart it to see if that helps!
I can't replicate it at will, and it doesn't happen on a schedule. I also did a factory reset and confirmed my software is up to date. Even with no apps running, it still flashes. I'm just stumped!
That sounds really tricky! It could very well be a hardware issue then if you've ruled out software fixes.
First off, check if there's any software update available. Sometimes, an update can fix these weird glitches. I had a similar problem on my Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus, which was resolved with an official update followed by a factory reset. It worked like a charm afterward!

Thanks for the suggestion! I might sell it for parts if I can't resolve this issue.
