Why Is My 4090 GPU Causing a Black Screen on Startup?

Hey everyone, I've been dealing with a frustrating issue with my PC lately. When I power it on after leaving it idle for more than 10 hours, the screen goes black, and the GPU fan runs at full speed. However, when I restart it, the problem seems to go away. Have any of you experienced something similar? Here's my setup: Core i5-14600kf, Asus TUF Z690 P WiFi, and a 4090 Suprim X with triple monitors (two DisplayPorts and one HDMI). Any advice would be appreciated!

Sounds like a symptom of a failing GPU to me. If you're still under warranty, I would suggest submitting a claim as soon as possible. It's better to be safe than sorry!

Really? That makes me so nervous... I hope it’s not dying!

Have you tried reinstalling your GPU drivers? Sometimes outdated drivers can cause weird issues like this. It might be worth a shot!

Yeah, I actually rolled back to the older 566.45 drivers, but the problem still happens.
