Why is my computer’s audio coming through the microphone during calls?

I'm having a really frustrating issue where my friends hear voices from my videos and games coming through my microphone while we chat. I've tried everything I can think of: updated my drivers (including Realtek and AMD), disabled stereo mix, and even switched out my headphones. I've played around with every audio and mic port on my Asus Prime B550 Plus motherboard. Despite all that effort, they still hear the dialogue from YouTube and games, which is really annoying for them. I'm starting to wonder if my motherboard might be faulty, but I'm not sure what else to try.

It sounds like your microphone might be picking up the sound from your headphones instead of your PC outputting it incorrectly. This could be due to a few things like a sensitive mic, the mic not being directional enough, or your headphones leaking sound. Try adjusting the mic position, lowering the mic sensitivity, or turning down your headphone volume. If that doesn't help, consider upgrading to a better mic or headset.

I actually disconnected the mic and just used the adapter to split the audio, but I still see audio from my PC coming through on Discord. I'm using two different adapters, and the same problem keeps happening.
