Hey everyone! I'm currently hanging out in a Discord server where we exchange encrypted messages. Today, when I tried to use my go-to decoder website (dCode), I hit a wall because it got blocked on my computer. The weird part? The site says it's in France, but I'm based in the US and haven't messed with my location settings at all. I've tried to adjust my location settings, but that hasn't helped. I'm using Windows 10 by the way. Any insights on what might be going on? Here's a screenshot of the issue: [https://imgur.com/a/a5QTbmJ](https://imgur.com/a/a5QTbmJ)

It looks like the site is showing a French location, which is probably why you're getting blocked. Sometimes websites change their security settings, so it could just be a recent update that affects access for users outside of certain regions. Have you tried using a VPN to see if that helps you get past the block?
You might want to check out this thread for potential fixes: https://superuser.com/questions/1756889/where-does-window-10-keep-its-geolocation-data-is-it-possible-to-change-them-fr. It might help you find a way to adjust some settings on your Windows 10 to steer clear of this block.
Tried that already, but it didn’t do anything for me before I came to ask here.
Have you checked if you're on a monitored network? Like, sometimes school or work networks have restrictions on certain sites. If it’s your personal computer, you might be in the clear, though!
Nope, it's just my personal PC. No monitoring here.
Based on the bookmark from McAfee that you mentioned, it’s possible that the block is coming from your antivirus software instead of the site itself. Maybe try disabling it temporarily and see if that allows access to the decoder site?
I get that, but I've always used this site without issues until now. Maybe something did change recently since I haven’t accessed it in a few months.
