Why is my desired domain not available anymore?

I found a domain I wanted on Porkbun yesterday, and it was available. But today, it says I need to 'inquire' about it. I checked ICANN lookup, and the domain is not listed there. It still shows as available on GoDaddy, but I'm not keen on purchasing it from them. Can anyone explain what's happening?

This situation often happens when a registrar temporarily flags a domain after it's been searched, or if their system isn’t synced properly. Since ICANN shows it as unregistered and GoDaddy still lists it as available, it probably hasn’t been taken yet. The 'inquire' message on Porkbun might mean they see it as premium or it's in a pending state. You might want to wait a bit, try another trusted registrar, or contact Porkbun support to sort it out.

If it's marked as premium, will that mean more cost? Can I resolve this by reaching out to them?

If you were interested in that domain, why didn’t you buy it right away?

I couldn’t make the purchase at that moment.
