I'm trying to download a 6.1GB file from Mediafire and it's telling me it will take 2 days at just 30kb/s. This doesn't make sense since I've downloaded other files quickly, including stuff like download managers. My internet speed is fine at 100 mb/s, and I've tested this on different browsers without any changes. Just yesterday, I was able to download this file in about 10 minutes. What's going on?

If you're on Mediafire's free plan, that could explain the slow speeds since it usually limits bandwidth. Upgrading to the Pro Plan might give you better speeds. Though, keep in mind, Mediafire has had mixed performance in the past, so it could also just be them having a bad day.
It sounds like you've already got a good handle on the situation. You mentioned that other downloads are speedy, which points to the issue being on Mediafire's end. If you're getting 30kbps from them but 100mbps from elsewhere, it's likely they're throttling the download for some reason. At this point, there's not much you can do except wait it out.
So the Pro Plan might have speed limits too? Mediafire has worked fine for me before, but is there anything I can do in the meantime?
