I recently built my gaming rig with a Ryzen 5 5600, RTX 5060 8GB, and 32GB of RAM. I've been watching some YouTube gameplay, and I noticed that players are getting stable FPS of over 400 in Valorant, while I'm stuck around 200 FPS on high settings. Since I'm pretty new to all this, I'm wondering what steps I can take to improve my FPS?

Keep in mind that FPS can vary depending on your CPU too, and the people you see might be using different setups. Plus, why do you need 400 FPS? Most players are fine with around 144 FPS on a standard monitor; that should give you a smooth gaming experience. High FPS is helpful in games like Valorant or CS:GO for competitive play, though!
First things first, make sure you have XMP or DOCP enabled in your BIOS to get the most out of your RAM. Also, consider lowering some graphical settings in the game— sometimes a small tweak can boost performance a lot!

Exactly! High FPS can give you an edge, especially in fast-paced games. But if you’re using a 144Hz monitor, you probably won't notice much difference past that point.
