Hey everyone! I'm having some serious performance issues with my gaming rig. Here's my setup: ASRock B650M PG LIGHTNING motherboard, Endorfy Vero L5 Bronze 700W power supply, AMD Ryzen 5 7500F processor, and a Sapphire Radeon RX 7800 XT with 16GB of memory. Despite having this decent setup, I'm noticing significant FPS drops in every game I play. For instance, in Counter-Strike at 1280 x 960 resolution, my frame rate drops from 230fps to 180fps (with a cap of 300fps). In League of Legends, I drop from 199fps to 120fps, and in Fortnite on medium settings, it falls from 199fps to 100fps. It feels really choppy, and I can't figure out what's causing it. Any suggestions?

I've noticed these kinds of FPS drops can happen due to what's going on in the game. Do the drops correlate with a lot of action happening on screen, or do they happen randomly?
What resolution are you gaming at? If you're using 1920 x 1080, that seems fine. Also, have you run any logging tools to monitor power, heat, and your GPU/CPU stats during gameplay? That might help you identify any overheating issues or performance bottlenecks.
I'm at 1920 x 1080. What logging tools would you recommend?
First off, make sure your RAM is installed in slots 2 and 4 for optimal performance. Also, check if EXPO is enabled in your BIOS settings; a 6000 CL30 RAM kit would be ideal for your build. Lastly, have you checked your CPU's benchmark scores in Cinebench 2024? That could give you an idea if everything's running smoothly on the CPU side.
Yes, my RAM is in the right slots, EXPO is enabled, and I'm using Patriot Viper Venom, 32GB at 6000MHz CL36. I think it’s performing well.
They seem to happen completely at random.
