Why Is My Gaming PC Glitching, Freezing, and Delivering Lower FPS Than Expected?

My gaming PC is performing much worse than expected. In Warzone, buildings and parts of the map sometimes fail to load, I can fall through the floor or bounce around, and the game may freeze or crash. In Forza Horizon 6, I see low streaming bandwidth warnings and experience freezes. I am also getting lower FPS than I expected. The system has a B650M Pro RS WiFi motherboard, an AMD Ryzen 5 7600X processor, an RX 9070 Challenger 16GB graphics card, 32GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 2TB SSD. My display cable is connected directly to the graphics card, Windows was installed about nine months ago, and the power supply is rated at 1200W.

Low streaming bandwidth and missing map textures can point to a storage, driver, or game-install problem. Confirm that the games are installed on the SSD, make sure the SSD is not nearly full, and check its health. Also update the motherboard chipset and BIOS if needed, then test the games again after reinstalling or repairing them.

The symptoms sound like a troubleshooting issue rather than simply not having enough power. Since the display cable is connected to the GPU, check that the graphics card is fully seated and that its power cables are firmly connected. Then perform a clean graphics-driver installation, verify the game files, and monitor GPU temperatures, CPU temperatures, clock speeds, and RAM usage while the problem happens.

The display cable is connected to the GPU. Windows was installed about nine months ago, and I am using an SSD for storage.

A 1200W power supply should provide plenty of capacity, but the model and quality still matter. Check whether it is a reputable unit and whether the GPU is receiving the recommended dedicated power connections. If the issue continues, test the RAM with a memory diagnostic and temporarily disable EXPO or other overclocking settings to rule out instability.

The power supply is rated at 1200W, so I do not think the wattage is the limitation, but I can still check the exact model and connections.
