Why Is My Gaming PC Not Performing as Expected?

I'm having some performance issues with my gaming PC and could use some advice. I've got an AMD Ryzen 5 7600, 32GB of Vengeance DDR5 RAM, and a 3060 Ventus 3X 12GB graphics card, paired with a Pro B650-S WiFi motherboard. Despite these specs, my games are only hitting around 100 to 130 FPS even when I lower the graphics settings. I'm not very tech-savvy, so I'd appreciate any tips on how to improve my performance.

It sounds like your setup should handle games quite well, but there are a few things to check out. First, make sure your graphics drivers are up to date; outdated drivers can really hold performance back. Also, try monitoring your CPU and GPU temperatures while gaming, as overheating can throttle performance. Lastly, check your background processes when gaming; too many running could be draining resources.

Have you considered optimizing your in-game settings? Although you mentioned using low settings, sometimes disabling things like V-Sync or enabling Game Mode on Windows can give you a performance boost. When I'm playing Fortnite, I find that every little tweak can make a difference, especially in competitive gaming!
