I've recently been spending more time gaming on my PC and I've noticed it's incredibly loud when I play. As someone who isn't very experienced with PC building and troubleshooting, I'm a bit frustrated because I paid a decent amount for this gaming setup. Isn't a higher-priced gaming PC supposed to operate more quietly? I'm curious if there are any solutions to reduce the noise, like getting better fans or if loudness is just a common issue during intense gaming. Any advice would be appreciated!

You might want to check your fan settings. You can actually lower the fan speeds and adjust the fan curves in BIOS. Just keep an eye on your temperatures to make sure everything stays cool enough!
It really depends on your build. If you have a stock cooler, switching to a better air cooler might help. You could also look into your case airflow as cramped spaces can create more noise. If possible, try to move your PC further away or into a different room to reduce how much you hear it.
Consider replacing any stock fans with quieter ones from brands like Noctua or Be Quiet. These usually make a noticeable difference in noise levels! Also, check that no cables are touching the fans since that can cause rattling sounds.

Totally agree! Also, make sure to optimize your fan placements for better airflow which can keep noise down.
