I've been using my gaming PC for the last five years, and lately, I've been experiencing some frustrating stuttering issues across all my games. I used to play everything without a hitch, but now it's almost unplayable. I've tried uninstalling games, ensuring they're on my SSD, performing a clean-up of my PC, updating all drivers, and even running games at lower graphics settings, yet the stuttering persists. The only games that run smoothly are Marvel Rivals and The Sims, which is odd because I never had issues with other games before. I'm not super tech-savvy, but I'm willing to troubleshoot. I'm completely stuck on what to do next as everything was fine just a while ago. Here are my specs:
- Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 Pro (64-bit)
- Memory: 32 GB
- Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9700K CPU @ 3.60GHz
- Motherboard: ASRock - Z390 Pro4
- Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER
- Network Card: Intel(R) Ethernet Connection (7) I219-V
- Hard Disk 1: Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus 1TB (1.0 TB)
- Hard Disk 2: ST2000DM008-2FR102 (2.0 TB)
I really appreciate any help I can get!

First, make sure that your Windows is installed on the SSD, not the HDD. If your HDD is starting to fail, it could be dragging down performance overall. Try unplugging the HDD and see if your games run smoother without it. It's a quick way to check if the HDD is the issue!
That's a solid suggestion! Also, you could download Samsung Magician to check the health of your SSD or use Hard Disk Sentinel for a health check on all your drives.
