I've built a new PC less than a year ago and have pretty decent specs: an RTX 5070 with 12GB, a Ryzen 7 5700X CPU, and 32GB of RAM, all running on an SSD. I play on two 1920x1080 monitors and, while my setup should handle games well according to benchmarks, I'm not seeing the same performance. Recently, I've noticed in League of Legends, which is CPU heavy, that I start with 200-220 FPS but after about 15 minutes, it drops significantly to around 60-80 FPS by the end of a match. I've tried adjusting several BIOS settings, but nothing seems to fix my performance issues. What could be causing this drop in frame rates?

It sounds like you might have a cooling issue. What type of CPU cooler are you using? Also, keep an eye on your CPU and GPU temperatures while you’re gaming.

I don't see any branding on my cooler, but I have six fans inside. I checked the temperatures while gaming, and the highest was around 60°C. If I open the case, I can feel the cool air inside. Does that help?
