Why is my keyboard spamming when not plugged in?

I've been having this frustrating issue with my keyboard where it seems to be spamming inputs even when it's unplugged. I've tried unplugging the power supply, reconnecting the keyboard, and restarting my PC multiple times, but nothing seems to work. I've also tested the keyboard on another device and it works fine, so I suspect it's a Windows issue. I'm running Windows 11, any ideas on how to fix this?

Interestingly, I’ve had a similar problem before, and it resolved itself after shutting down my PC for about 40 minutes. It might be worth a try if you haven’t done that already!

It sounds like your keyboard isn’t the problem if it works fine on other devices. This could be a bug with Windows or possibly an issue with the input controllers on your PC. Sometimes, even when a keyboard is unplugged, there can be glitches or phantom inputs due to software bugs.

I didn’t think of the controllers being a factor. Any tips on how to check this in Windows?
