I've been using my laptop mostly while it's plugged in, but I unplugged it yesterday to cast Netflix to my TV. After plugging it back in, I noticed it was really slow and laggy. Restoring to factory settings helped while it was plugged in, but today I unplugged it again for Netflix and now it's lagging again when I plug it back in. It seems like it gets slow either after being unplugged or after watching something. The battery is set to 'high performance' when plugged in, but I'm not sure what's causing the slowdown. Any thoughts?

I've had this issue too, and restarting while on battery can sometimes do the trick. Just a heads up, make sure the power mode is balanced when unplugged. If it was set to balanced, you might need to look into other potential fixes too!
You might want to check the power settings when your laptop is running on battery. If it's set to maximum battery life, that could slow it down after unplugging. Try restarting it while on battery and see if that helps!
