I've been playing Cyberpunk on my laptop for about three weeks, racking up around 80 hours with no problems. However, I booted it up today and within two minutes of launching the game, my entire computer shut down. This issue persists even with other games I've tried. My RAM usage was at 15.6 out of 16 GB, and my GPU was at 87% while playing. I've restarted my laptop and updated Windows multiple times, but the problem remains. Any ideas on what could be causing this?

This might also be an SSD issue where the drive is failing or becoming corrupted. If you can, run a hardware diagnostics test to check the health of your SSD. It may also be worth checking the event viewer logs on Windows to see if there are any critical errors logged right before the shutdowns.
It sounds like a tricky situation. If your laptop is crashing with multiple games, it might be related to overheating or hardware issues. Given that your GPU was pretty high at 87%, it could be a thermal throttling problem or even dust buildup in the cooling fans. It might help to clean the vents and ensure that you're using the laptop on a flat surface to allow for good airflow. Just a thought!
Yeah, I had a similar issue before! Cleaning out the fans totally solved my problem. It's surprising how much dust can accumulate.

Thanks for the tip! I haven't checked the event viewer yet. I'll look into that and see what it shows.
