I recently swapped my Ryzen 5 1600AF for a Ryzen 7 5800XT after getting a new case and AIO, and everything seemed to go smoothly at first. I placed the CPU without issues and connected everything, but when I tried to power it on, the fans and AIO turned on and off, the RGB lights lit up, and my GPU's small screen came on too. However, it gets stuck at that point, displaying a yellow light on the motherboard, which indicates a DRAM issue. I've tried removing the CMOS battery to reset it, but I'm unsure if that will help. I was just gaming this morning without problems, so I'm puzzled. If resetting the CMOS doesn't work, I might need to check for damaged pins on the CPU.

Did you check if your motherboard's BIOS is updated before you installed the new CPU? Sometimes a new CPU needs a specific BIOS version to function properly. It's worth a look!
No, I didn’t think about updating the BIOS. Should I have done that?
