Hey everyone! I'm new to PC building and I'm running into a bit of a hiccup. While testing my components, I noticed that the DRAM indicator on my motherboard lights up red, and I'm not quite sure what might be going wrong. I've made sure to snap my RAM sticks in place, and I placed them according to the manual, but it's still not working. Any advice would be fantastic! Here's my build for reference: [PCPartPicker List](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/24YJLc). Thanks!

On the first boot, your system usually has to 'train' the memory, and that can take a bit of time. How long did you leave it on before you turned it off? Sometimes you need to give it a few minutes for everything to get detected properly. It’s a frustrating wait, I know!

When you're installing RAM, make sure the latches on the slots are open before you push the RAM in. They should click shut once you press down hard enough. Have you noticed if the latches move or click when you insert the RAM? If not, you might not be pushing down hard enough. Also, is your RAM sitting properly? Sometimes it can be a bit tricky with the different types of latches on motherboards.
