Hi everyone! I just completed building my new PC, but I'm having trouble with my dedicated graphics card. Despite the GPU's LEDs lighting up when I power on, the fans don't spin and it's not recognized in the BIOS or Windows Device Manager. Currently, my system is relying on integrated graphics, which is working fine.
To give you a clearer picture:
- I've reseated the GPU in different PCIe slots.
- Tried out various HDMI and DisplayPort cables.
- Connected the monitor to both the GPU and motherboard, but it only works when connected to the motherboard.
- Double-checked that all the power connectors for the GPU are securely attached.
- Updated to the latest BIOS and reviewed all BIOS settings.
My power supply unit is a be quiet! Pure Power 12M 750W, and I have a new Gigabyte GeForce RTX 5070. Yet, the GPU still isn't sending any signal and doesn't show up in BIOS. Does anyone have any thoughts on what might be wrong?

Have you verified that the GPU is properly seated and locked in its PCIe slot? Sometimes, it can feel like it’s in place but isn’t fully secure. Also, consider testing the GPU in another PC if you have one available; it could help isolate whether the card is faulty.
Check if your motherboard has the latest firmware; a BIOS update can sometimes resolve detection issues. Also, ensure that your PSU is providing enough power. Since it's a new build, it might be a non-detected hardware issue, so checking those connections again is a good idea. Don’t forget to double-check the GPU’s power connectors!
