Why Is My New PC Stuttering Despite High FPS?

I just completed my new PC build, but I'm experiencing some strange stuttering while gaming, despite seeing a solid frame rate of around 75 FPS with VSync enabled. It's definitely playable, but it's quite annoying. Here are my specs: RTX 5070, Ryzen 5 7600X, and 32GB of RAM. Has anyone else faced this issue?

Have you tried playing a few rounds of Counter-Strike? Sometimes that can help identify if it's an issue with specific games or just generalized shader compilation lag. The stuttering can vary game to game.

What games are you seeing the stuttering in? I’ve heard that a lot of Unreal Engine 5 games have optimization issues, which might be beyond your control. From your specs, though, you should be able to handle them well enough.

I notice it most in Red Dead Redemption 2.

What resolution are you playing at? I see you’re at 1080p, but different games have different demands. It might also help to narrow down which titles are causing the issue.

Have you turned on XMP/EXPO for your RAM? It can really help with performance. Also, are your games installed on an SSD? That can make a difference too, especially for loading times. Lastly, are you noticing the stuttering in online or offline games?
