I recently got an ADATA UV360 256GB USB 3.2 drive, and while it performs well when I test its read and write speeds, I'm having a major issue. When I try to transfer files, it starts fast but then drops to a crawl after reaching peak speed. I've ruled out a few things: 1) It's not overheating, since I checked it shortly after use, and it's metal-cased. 2) I've tested it on three different computers and it still behaves the same way. 3) I've formatted it in various formats like FAT32, exFAT, and NTFS, but nothing seems to help. What could be the problem?

It sounds like your pen drive might have a low-end controller and cache issues. These can result in it not sustaining high speeds, which means it's slower than others when transferring files consistently. If you're looking for reliable performance, you might want to consider switching to something like a Samsung drive that has better sustained write speeds.
I don’t quite get it. Is there a way to set a program that could limit the writing and reading speed? Like, could I keep it constantly at a lower speed, say around 30 MB/s?
