I just got a 2TB 990 EVO Plus SSD for gaming and OS files, but I'm struggling to set it up as my boot drive in BIOS. I've tried many solutions, but it only appears when I switch from UEFI to CSM mode. I really want to boot using UEFI. I've also got a 2TB HDD and a 110GB Kingston SATA SSD. Oddly enough, the boot option is still selecting the 110GB SSD, which doesn't have any Windows files on it (that's the case with UEFI mode). The 990 EVO appears in the M.2 list, but only in CSM mode. I've been stuck on this for two days! Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Note: I accidentally reinstalled Windows on the 2TB HDD instead of the SSD and then tried reinstalling it on the SSD a couple of times. I've also formatted my USB with Rufus in GPT and NTFS without CSM to install Windows, but that doesn't help either.

Another thing to consider is your BIOS settings. Make sure Secure Boot is disabled, as it can sometimes prevent the SSD from being recognized. Also, ensure that the SSD is set as the primary boot device in UEFI mode. Sometimes it’s just a matter of tweaking a couple of settings to get it to recognize properly!
You might want to check how the 990 EVO's partition is set up; ensure it’s using GPT (GUID Partition Table). It can sometimes cause issues, especially with UEFI, if it's set as MBR instead. Just double-check in your disk management settings and see if that might be the root of the problem.
