I tried removing my CMOS battery because my BIOS wasn't saving changes, thinking that a hard reset might help. The CMOS battery is located behind my GPU, so I had to take it out and put everything back together. Now, when I boot up my PC, it shows a black screen. I checked that all the cords are plugged in, but my keyboard and mouse don't light up, and my ethernet cord doesn't show any signs of power either. The GPU fan is spinning, but I'm starting to think my motherboard isn't getting any power. Also, I noticed that the power button on my PC case isn't working now either.

It's definitely a good sign that your GPU fan is spinning, but if the peripherals aren't lighting up, that usually points to a power issue. Make sure to connect everything again firmly and see if there are any loose cables.
It sounds like your motherboard might not be powering up. You should double-check all the connections, especially the ones to the power supply and motherboard. Sometimes reseating the cables can make a difference.

I had a similar issue before and found that reseating the cables did the trick. I hope it works out for you!
