A little while ago, I was playing a game called The Quarry when my PC unexpectedly shut down. I made the mistake of turning it back on right away and continued playing, but it shut down again after some time. I've done this a couple of times now. The odd thing is, once my PC is finally running, it works just fine. However, getting it turned on takes multiple tries. Any ideas on what might be going on?

It seems like a failing PSU could be your problem. When you start up a game, the power draw increases which might be causing the shutdowns. I’d suggest checking the temps and also possibly getting a new PSU if the problem persists.
You're probably dealing with a weak or dying PSU. When you launch a game, it demands more power, and if your PSU can't handle it, your PC just shuts off. Keeping an eye on your power supply might be wise. Definitely check your temperatures too — overheating might be the main issue.
It sounds like your issue could be related to overheating or a failing power supply unit (PSU). Have you checked your temperatures when you're gaming? Overheating is often the culprit here, especially if your system shuts down suddenly without error messages.
