Why Is My PC Stuttering in Games?

I'm experiencing stuttering issues across all my games, even those that shouldn't be too demanding on my system. I have a prebuilt PC that came with a 3050 6GB, but I've recently upgraded to a 5060 8GB. Earlier this year, I tried upgrading to a 4060, but I faced similar stuttering problems that I couldn't fix. I sent the GPU back, thinking that was the issue, but it seems that's not the case. Here are my current specs:

- Intel i5-12400F
- MSI Shadow 5060 8GB OC
- Pro H610M-E DDR4 Motherboard
- 500GB NVME SSD and a recently added 500GB SATA SSD
- 16GB RAM at 3200MHz
- 650W PSU

I've tried a lot of potential fixes, including disabling resizable bar in BIOS, changing PCIe generation settings, enabling/disabling HAGS, running OCCT tests on various components, reinstalling Windows twice, using DDU for driver cleaning, and adjusting power plans. My temperatures seem normal too, according to HWinfo. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

First off, make sure you've updated your motherboard BIOS and GPU drivers. A fresh install with DDU usually helps too! Also, double-check that you're using the display port from the GPU instead of the motherboard. Lastly, confirm that your RAM speed profiles are set to max in the BIOS settings.

I feel you, I had a similar issue! Even after updating everything, the stuttering persisted. If you've already done those steps and it didn't help, you might want to check for any background processes hogging resources. Also, if you're using Wi-Fi, try switching to a wired connection to see if that stabilizes things.
