Hey everyone! I'm dealing with a frustrating issue where Rainbow Six Siege stutters every 5-10 seconds, while no other games I'm playing seem to have this problem. During these stutters, my input gets locked—if I let go of the D key, my character keeps moving right until the stutter ends. The audio also cuts out or becomes static, especially during explosions or intense moments, which makes the game nearly unplayable. I've even tried dropping all graphics settings to the lowest, but the stuttering persists. Here's what I've done so far: I've updated all my drivers, checked for corrupt game files, and reinstalled the game, but nothing has helped. My specs include a 750W PSU, RTX 2070 Super GPU, Ryzen 7 3700X CPU, 32GB RAM, ASUS X570 motherboard with WIFI, and I'm running Windows 11. I've been an avid player since the beta, and I'm looking for any experience or advice on this issue—just want to play the game normally again!

If everything was fine before, think about any changes that might’ve happened around the time it started stuttering. Did you have a Windows or game update? It might be kind of a hassle to troubleshoot after a few months, but you might want to consider reinstalling Windows as a fresh start. Are you playing in the new mode? The new map seems to be poorly optimized, causing major stutters. Other older maps tend to work just fine. You might want to test that out!

Totally get what you mean. I've had my share of freezes and stability issues too. Before the micro stutters became a thing, I was even forced to restart my PC mid-game! I guess we just need to keep our fingers crossed for updates that address these issues.
