I have a pretty solid gaming PC, and I started having frequent crashes, so I installed a new fan. However, ever since I did that, my PC has been lagging badly, especially with games that used to run smoothly and don't demand high performance. I've checked a lot on my own; I still have around 300-500 GB of free space on my storage. My monitors are connected via DisplayPort, and my games are installed on an SSD. I'm really at a loss about what could be causing these issues. Here are my specs:
- CPU: Intel Core i7 11700KF
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080
- Motherboard: ASUSTek COMPUTER INC. G15CE
- RAM: SK Hynix HMA81GU6DJR8n-XN DDR4 x2
- Storage: KINGSTON SNVS1000G ST2000DM008
Any suggestions on what could be wrong?

It sounds like your problem might be related to Windows settings or drivers rather than the hardware itself, assuming everything else is functioning fine. I'd recommend doing a full reinstall of Windows to see if that helps resolve the lag.
