I've been having an issue with my Moto G Stylus where the battery seems to be depleting even while it's plugged in. I've had this phone since 2021, and it's sluggish at times. Recently, while I was using my flashlight and having a fan on in my room, I noticed a weird flashing behavior from my flashlight. After that, I connected my charger and noticed my battery percentage dropped significantly from 56% to 43% while still showing the charging symbol. I've closed all my apps and even left it alone for a bit, but the drain continues. Does this have anything to do with the fan, or is it my charger or phone? Should I try restarting or switching outlets? Any help would be super appreciated!

Have you considered testing another charger? Sometimes chargers can develop faults over time. If your fan is having issues too, it might just be coincidental, but it’s worth a look!
It sounds like you might be using more power than your charger can supply, especially if you’re on apps like TikTok that drain a lot of battery. Check if there's any fast charging option turned off on your phone and try using a different charger if you can. If that doesn’t fix it, there might be an issue with the USB port or cable, but don’t stress too much; it could be a simple fix!
I get that—it’s frustrating! If you haven’t already, try to restart your phone like you mentioned, as it can sometimes clear up temporary glitches. Just keep an eye on any overheating as that can also affect battery drain!
I actually restarted my phone, and that seemed to help a lot. Sadly, I don't have another charger with me on vacation, so I'll have to make do with this one for now!
