Why Is My RAM Showing 4800MHz Instead of 6000MHz?

I'm having an issue with my RAM speed. Even though I've enabled EXPO, Windows shows that my RAM is running at 4800MHz instead of the expected 6000MHz. I've updated my BIOS before enabling EXPO, so I'm not sure what's going wrong. Can anyone help me figure this out?

Make sure XMP is enabled in your BIOS settings. Sometimes it needs to be manually toggled.

You might want to check using CPU-Z. Go to the Memory tab to see the DRAM frequency. Remember, DDR means double data rate, so 3000MHz would effectively show as 6000MHz. If you’re not seeing that, let us know your CPU, RAM, and motherboard details!

I already have CPU-Z and it shows my DRAM frequency at around 3000 MHz, fluctuating a bit. Does that mean I'm good? My setup is an Asus Tuf Gaming B850-Plus Wifi with an AMD Ryzen 9800x3d, XFX Mercury Radeon RX 9070 XT, and G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo RGB 32 GB DDR5-6000 CL30.
